“Beautiful area!”

“As two women staying here by ourselves, this place made us uncomfortable. Wires were cut leading up to the hut (they said it’s been like that for 6 years but how would we know that?) and the lock was broken/tampered with so that it wouldn’t lock at all. Didn’t feel as it was worth it to call someone out as we were in the middle of nowhere and still felt unsafe on the property so we left to find a hotel.”

“Recently stayed at Muddy Moose Cabin in Vermont, and it was a delightful experience! The serene surroundings provided a peaceful escape, and the cabin's cozy atmosphere felt like a home away from home. Safety was a top priority, and the quiet ambiance added to the charm. Highly recommend for a relaxing and rejuvenating getaway!”

“This is a magical place to stay in a beautiful country setting in Vermont. My room was charming, comfortable, and had everything I needed. The food at the Blackbird Bistro is delicious, and the coffee and smoothies at the Whetstone Cafe are delightful. I would absolutely stay here again. ”

“Quiet, comfortable space. Generally well appointed and located off the beaten path. Recommendations: (1) AWD/4WD vehicle to get there in inclement weather (snow, rain); (2) eat before going there or bring food (bit of a drive to a restaurant). ”

“The cabin itself was lovely the views breathtaking just a couple of hiccups really. We had a 4 Hour drive to get to the cottage which we got to a few minutes early before check-in before four. So we left and came back at four housekeeping was still there. My husband asked how long they would be. They said about a half an hour, so we sat in our car for half an hour. Once again, the cottage is lovely but the screened in porch area. The screens many of them are completely loose blowing in the wind.……

“I would return. We had a hard time finding utensils and locking the door, but the answer to both of those were documented in the welcome email from the hosts. Suggest completely reading that to avoid any issues.”

“A friend of mine came to Vermont with me while i ran the Mad River Marathon and we spent a couple days traveling Route 100 to see the sights. The house was just perfect for our trip, very relaxing and had everything we needed.”

“This place was small, but everything was accurate to the listing and it served my purpose perfectly. Easy self check-in. My wife and I were able to ski during the day in the surrounding area and relax at night. No complaints.”

“Gwen and Larry were excellent hosts from start to finish! The property was everything as described, plus more. The communication with the hosts were direct and speedy with responses, an attribute that made our weekend even more enjoyable! From the cute landscape surrounding the cabin, to every aspect inside that was available for us. I look forward to hopefully making more trips back to this quaint destination for an escape from the hustle of Jersey!”

“We enjoyed our stay at the lake house. The view from the kitchen and living room is beautiful. The kids enjoyed the kayaks, foosball table and the Elmore Sugar house ice cream which is close by. We found the hot tub rules somewhat intimidating, so we tried to minimize our use in the tub, but we still had lots of fun and hope to come back.”

“We managed to be lucky enough to book this cabin just as all of the leaves turned so it was like being in a painting. The land is beautiful to walk and the views are amazing. The cabin itself is very cozy and has great character. The kitchen was very convenient and I loved cooking on that stove, and the bathroom was clean and well kept as well. It was great to unplug, read, and relax for a while. Hopefully we will be able to go back again.”

“Although the weather did not really cooperate (rained for the first 2 days), we still found the home cozy, peaceful and and the area serene. A beautiful location right on the lake. We go once a year with our four wheelers to northern Vermont and this was a great riding area. Lots of trails with stops along the way (Parker Pies, Bakersfield, Morgan Store). Jim and his wife were there when we arrived. Very nice people. Would recommend to hikers, ATV'ers, and just folks who want to get away. PS.……

“Accommodations were pretty much as described. Had a few WIFI outages but quickly resolved. Only downside was distance from tourist attractions and restaurants. Only met Dave, not his wife, but he was very friendly and helpful”
