“The property was as listed. Secluded spot, but just close enough to get to town to do stuff. The check in process was seamless. The house does have some regular wear and tear, but is super cute and was great for me and my friend's to relax. My dog loved the yard. We did have to purchase a new propane tank to use the grill for just one night. Also didnt have enough toilet paper for the whole trip. There are no paper towels either. We did not reach out to anyone cause we figured it was just our……

“The property is located outside of Stowe, about 15 mins to Stowe Mountain Resort. There are great views of the valley looking down into Stowe. The house size worked well for our party of 4 and a dog. Many thanks to Karen for being responsive and prompt to reply when the pending snow storm threatened our arrival day/time, she was a pleasure to deal with.”

“We loved staying in this cozy cabin! We had a bit of a hiccup with check in (the door code didn’t work and Vacasa was difficult to get ahold of) but once we were in, we really enjoyed our stay! The cabin was clean and comfortable. The kids loved making smores in the fire pit and our dog loved sleeping in front of the fireplace. We would definitely stay here again!”

“We had a wonderful relaxing weekend at Cabins in the Woods. I rated it a four for cleanliness because it is a cabin after all. Didn’t expect anything else. Such a charming, comfortable place with plenty of privacy. Ed in the office was so friendly and kind. We will definitely be back! ”

“Although the weather did not really cooperate (rained for the first 2 days), we still found the home cozy, peaceful and and the area serene. A beautiful location right on the lake. We go once a year with our four wheelers to northern Vermont and this was a great riding area. Lots of trails with stops along the way (Parker Pies, Bakersfield, Morgan Store). Jim and his wife were there when we arrived. Very nice people. Would recommend to hikers, ATV'ers, and just folks who want to get away. PS.……

We all agreed that it was the nicest place we've rented through VRBO. My communication with the owners was excellent and prompt. When we go back, this will be the 1st property we'll look for. “The cabin itself was lovely the views breathtaking just a couple of hiccups really. We had a 4 Hour drive to get to the cottage which we got to a few minutes early before check-in before four. So we left and came back at four housekeeping was still there. My husband asked how long they would be. They said about a half an hour, so we sat in our car for half an hour. Once again, the cottage is lovely but the screened in porch area. The screens many of them are completely loose blowing in the wind.……

“We enjoyed our stay over the April break. The property was quaint and well looked after. Being able to bring your pet was a huge plus and communication with our host was excellent.”

“The apartment was clean and cozy and had all the amenities you could want in a vrbo stay. I loved that it was dog friendly and so close to Stowe - so easy to get there by car or by the bus that stops almost right in front of the lot you park in. My one negative comment is not the VRBO’s fault but I feel it’s necessary to note and remind people searching that the location above the bar does matter. Most nights the music ended early but Saturday night the bartender FORGOT to turn the music off and……

“everything was great with one exception. There were no pots larger than a 3 quart pan, plenty of coffee cups but only 1 water glass, 6 4oz juice cups and 13 dinner plates, seems odd.”

“Really beautiful, especially in the fall. We came the second week in October and some reds had fallen but there was a lot of yellow. We were so warm and cozy! There is no way to cook food though, just an outdoor sink, fresh water, and toilet. If you’re coming from out of town make sure you rent a car. There is no Lyft or Uber service in the area.”

“Great location, nice yard space. Lots of cobwebs, unleashed dog, no blinds so the neighbors can see directly into the bed if you have a light on. 1 window unit is not equivalent to AC in the 2 story home. Wouldn't stay again but made it work for a couple of nights.”
