While the place is being redecorated it is in poor condition generally. Needs proper refurbishment ”
“The location is great. The staff is very friendly. There is a bar downstairs, great craft Scottish beer. Very relaxed feel. Property is old, had to carry luggage upstairs, and water heater a bit hard to figure out, but for the price we are paying, it is unbeatable. Thanks for wonderful Oban and Isle of Mull experience. ”

The worst thing is no wifi connection at all because they are fixing it for days. The hotel should inform guests who want to book the hotel in advance rather than saying sorry after we arrived. Really bad experience as we are cheated.”
“Front desk went out of there way to make sure we had a room to stay in without us being able to communicate with them for a late check-in. We arrived at 11:45pm. Fortunately they had emailed us info on the room and location of key for it. We had a great sleep. ”

“Recently refurbished hotel offered a comfortable stay with new bathrooms and restaurant. Good breakfast options and friendly hotel staff also serving in restaurant and bar in the evenings. £20 charge to bring our dog seemed excessive given nothing offered for the dog in the rooms. ”
“Clean, comfortable hotel close to the railway station and town centre. I had a small room and the hotel were honest and said it was probably best suited to solo travellers or short stays. The room was big enough but the bathroom was tiny. Fine for solo travellers though. Very clean and comfortable. ”

“A very well set up room for us, for a last minute pick in Oban. Though not large, everything we needed was there, working, and comfy and quiet.
We recc the Oban Inn, along the far edge of town near the waterfront, for great food and atmosphere. And the live caeli (sp?) music was really good. ”
