“This is a perfect location and home for anyone visiting Ft Mead base or area. We had kids, grandkids and us grandparents and we all loved the house. There are a lot of stairs, but handrails are sturdy if you use a cane or are older. The front steps do have 2 small steps that do not have a hand rail that I needed a hand up with. There is a large grocery store close by and Washington D.C. is about an hour drive. We went to the zoo( free admission) on Sunday morning and it was a 45 minute drive.……

“We arrived at this separate basement location, and when we walked in we were struck by how clean and neat it was. The area is large and well decorated. You have the essentials for your stay. Be aware, there is no kitchen, but there is a microwave and a refrigerator and a coffee bar as well. So you can get your cup of joe to start your day.
