“It is a very quiet and peaceful area. I rated it poorly for cleanliness and overall, because on initial entry to the cottage we were met with an overwhelming smell of damp. We also had to deal with a fruit fly issue even though we kept kitchen surfaces clean, food put away and the rubbish outside. We don't mind basic, but this was an expensive cottage for the week and we would have expected a shower to work properly and someone else to strip the bed and collect the towels at the end of our stay.”

“Charming and comfortable apartment located in a cottage in the exclusive grounds of a breath-takingly beautiful old country house just a few minutes by car from Newlyn/Mousehole/Penzance. The kitchenette offered everything we needed for a two-night stay (although we were out all day and chose to eat out in Penzance in the evening) and we appreciated the separate children’s bedroom and two bathrooms. Our helpful hosts on site in Trereife House were unobtrusive and we were grateful for the list of……

“Lovely and clean. Quirky. Close to sea front and we had wonderful seaview from our room. A great base for your holiday and reasonably priced. Staff and owner very friendly and helpful. Breakfast served to fridge in your room daily and also has microwave, toaster, kettle and egg cooker. En suite. Will definitely return.”

“Wunderschöner Rückzugsort. Unser Zimmer war sehr groß und schön. Es gibt kein Frühstück im herkömmlichen Sinne, sondern im Zimmer ist eine kleine Küchenzeile und man kann sich selbst dort Toast und Kaffe machen. Butter, Marmelade und Obst sowie Saft und Milch sind vorhanden. Für eine Nacht war es für uns perfekt.”
