“Overall, I had a pleasant stay. The room was clean and comfortable, and the welcome gift was a thoughtful touch. The location was also great, with the town centre within walking distance, making it easy to get around. The only issue was with the parking information. The listing stated that parking was available, but I later found out that it is only provided for guests staying 7 nights or more. This restriction was not mentioned in the listing, so it would be helpful if this could be clarified……

“on arrival, the property stunk and had bad odour of mice or rats but we did not see any, we found nail clipping on the floor and looked not well cleaned. On the first evening, people arrived at the property and showed us that they also booked the same property and questioned our booking, was awkward and embarcing to my wife and kids. Day 3 while we sat eating we found mice running in the middle of the reception. we left the next morning, one day early. Total miss selling.”

“The property was clean and spacious. Large bedrooms with storage and good quality linen. All the bathrooms are well fitted and easily operated. The large terrace was a good space for the family to sit together and the dining room was great for the family to eat together around the large table. Heating etc was easy to operate on the colder nights. The beach can be reached by walking but it's a challenging walk. It's a quiet area which is perfect for watching the sunset and star gazing. “This quiet and private location was ideal as a base from which to visit many of the attractions in Cornwall - Geevor Mine, Eden project, Bodmin Moor, Bodmin railway, Falmouth, St Michael's Mount etc. Sue was an excellent host and was there to greet us on our arrival. She was easily contacted if any help was needed (it wasn't). As a retired couple we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would have no hesitation in recommending the property.”

“House was fabulous- the new kitchen and downstairs shower room are light and modern, the living room was really cosy, and beds were comfy. A great location too, right on the Helford River.”
