“The hotel was exceptional , the rooms were amazing and the food was 5star . The only issue we have is the manner that the head or I presume the head of service in the breakfast restaurant spoke to her staff . She in our view needs to put on a course for man management. I have to say if we had been spoken too the way she addressed her staff we would have walked out . She was the only let down in the whole of the hotel . ”

“We have stopped in many hotels and over the past 10 years and this is up there as an absolute delight. The staff are warm and friendly - all on duty over our stay need to be commended for their commitment to ensure guests feel looked after! “We stayed in Room 2, The Ercall, it was beautifully decorated, impeccably clean and the views were amazing. Excellent attention to detail with good selection of hot beverages in te room. Taxi into Shrewsbury town was £10 and 15 - 20 minutes. The staff at the Riverside Inn are its greatest asset, polite, friendly, knowledgeable bout the local area, made time to chat and had everything you needed for a pleasant stay. ”

“Nice young lady showed us to our room which was nice. Only thing needed was a chair ( there was a stool. All areas clean. Good shower . Asked if we wanted to book a table for dinner, yes, done. Lovely little dining room. Food was good. Big telly ( eyesight not good so beneficial for me) , plug sockets both sides of the bed. Good hospitality tray. Comfy bed.
