“South Point resort is very nice, but it is far from the calming beaches and activities in Barbados. They don’t offer complementary shuttle service to the beaches or airport thus far each taxi or Uber is 30 US dollars per Way. If this hotel is in a different location, it will be every bit of a five. If you’re looking for tranquility and to stay in your room then yes it’s a five but if you’re looking for other activities, you probably wanna stay more inland. Hotel staff is excellent and so is……

“The room is not clean at all. You can't see the ocean from your room or house which you must be careful when you decide to book. The host is not friendly as they come from New York and all they care is only money.”

“The property is centrally located, especially for Oistins. It is located off Lodge Road, so it’s on a bus route with buses readily available for going to Bridgetown and surrounding areas. The host was impeccable. Wi-Fi was reliable and consistent.”

“First off it’s a small place but that doesn’t take away anything. Its gorgeous!!!! Staff is beyond helpful. It has an amazing restaurant up top and is close to a lot of things. You will not be disappointed if you book this. We just celebrated our honeymoon there and already planning out next trip back.”

“First time checking in fridge in room was not working. Then toilet flush wasn’t working. Moved to another room, cats are banging on the door connecting the room to the pool, noise from the upper flat and maintenances passing isn’t good when resting in the morning. Decided to extend my stay, I had to rebook waited a while to even get another room prepared although the booking was done onsite time and a day before scheduled check out for the first booking. “The worst experience I ever had traveling out the country. The resort was terrible. The food was terrible. They only gave you one plate per one plate breakfast lunch, and dinner and the food was horrible. Would not recommend. Do not go here. The pool was nasty and dirty and closed at 6 PM.”

“Rooms are on the 2nd floor or above, no elevator, you either pay someone to take your bags to the room or lug them up 2 or more flights - was not easy. The beach is close but the seaweed there turns it brown, so it seems a bit uninviting. Price was good”

“Lovely hotel. Room was very comfortable with good amenities. There were groups of sports teams from the UK there. Unfortunately when they arrived the restaurant focused more on them than the other guests resulting in long wait times to order and receive food and drink. You must treat ALL your guests appropriately. I believe the hotel was built in 2003. They can use some upgrades. The rooms have actual "keys" instead of key cards. Overall, my stay was very pleasant. I would return again.”
