Melbourne Inn is an excellent hotel. It was  comfortable,  clean, relaxing, convenient, memorable, and welcoming. The front desk staff  were pleasant, helpful,  polite,  reliable ,  respectful, and informative. Also, our compliments to the chef on making an amazing omelette.  We will definitely make it our accommodation of choice on our next visit.

This property was in a quiet area but very close to all of the bars and entertainment in the Gap .The beach was close but the pool in the property was beautiful and very quiet . Yes the reviews were very accurate for the Melbourne Inn

The property was simply okay. If you’re seeking a budget friendly area near the beach and still by strips of restaurants, this may be the place for you. I believe the upkeep is average because this resort is definitely on the smaller side and could be maintaining way more. However, I do believe this may have been a hotspot 10 years ago, but it could benefit greatly from a remodel now. There were also ants crawling from under the walls into the bathroom. I could tell this was a usual routine for them and that they probably aren’t used to guest interrupting their flow. The morning front desk lady was so helpful, accommodating, and able to assist us quickly in rectifying the issue for both of the rooms we were staying in.

We arrived in Barbados the night before our five night Sandals stay so that we could maximize our time on our first day at the resort. Melbourne Inn did exactly as we needed, a clean, safe place to spend the night, we checkout about 730am. It was about a fifteen minute uber ride from the airport, and a five minute walk to Sandals. Our only downfall, which had nothing to do with Melbourne Inn, was that we arrived about 1030pm and couldn’t find anywhere with food still open. We found a few bars, but they had stopped serving food, so no dinner for us. The staff were kind, check in and out was easy, we’d stay here again!

Melbourne Inn is a lovely little gem. The staff were so friendly and kind. Melbourne Inn was extremely clean. Our room was quiet and comfortable. The bistro and poolside was nice to come back from a walk and go for a refreshing swim and have a snack. I would highly recommend this place to stay.

Great pool, bar and restaurant, especially at happy hour. Very clean with professional and friendly staff. Room cleaning every other day, but our 7 night stay only had 1 full cleaning, seemed like the housekeeping schedule was not ideal. Would stay again if in the area.
