A pleasant walk through the forest will lead you to this beauty although there is a creek crossing that require you to get your feet wet if the water level is high. "We loved staying in the tent over the creek! It was so peaceful and relaxing. We enjoyed a fire in the evening and even had a couple of owls visit in the trees nearby. We will be back! 😀"

"Our group had the Backyard Campground all to ourselves on a wonderful Friday evening. Doug (owner) met us at the entrance and gave us a quick tour before pointing us back towards our campsites. We thoroughly enjoyed the riverside sites overlooking his neighbor's beautiful farm. Firewood was provided and the portable restrooms were sparklingly clean. Would love to come back and stay again next time."

"The grounds were beautiful! The tents were spaced out, but not so far that they didn't give a community feel. My boys really enjoyed the river access. It was shallow and easy to get to. Everything was well maintained and the grounds were very clean! I definitely recommend this place. It was an awesome experience."
