“Planned a short getaway to hike Mount Mitchell and this place could not have been more perfectly located to the trailhead. The Lodge is newly built, and ground are impeccably well maintained. The staff was super helpful. They even came by to drop off a lighter so the firepit could be put to use. They have a common use area with a ktichen and grills that can be utilized which is an added bonus as I don’t recall reading about all they had available to make the stay above and beyond expectations....

“This is a fully equipped cabin with spectacular views of valley and mountains. It is quiet and secluded and provided a wonderful break from people, noise and lights in the city. We did not see as many stars as we hoped because of a full moon but the we thoroughly enjoyed the serenity and listening to the birds. Set up for a couple is perfect with extra beds on the second floor for children or guests. Porch is a great place to relax and absorb the peaceful environment. Host was accommodating and...
