“Unfortunately, upon entry into this unit, the very first thing that overwhelmed me was a very obnoxious smell of mildew and wetness. And lots of chemical sense from cleaners, and other things, I tried airing the unit out to no avail in the middle of the night finally discovered the source of all of the smells, and it ends up being damp red bags, full of water and molding inside each closet, so the unit clearly has an issue with humidity and mildew and or mold. “This condo unit is clean, comfortable, and quiet for our off-season weekend stay in Pt Ludlow. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked.Communication with the host, however, was a challenge. I tried to contact them a week in advance of our stay with a question and it took 3 days for a response. After we checked in, we found out that access to the community pool required a special pass. But it is situated in historic center of town, so one has easy access to all the restaurants, shops, and access along that main street. The condo was immaculate, well-maintained, and easy to access. “The property was perfection! The BEST location and absolutely immaculate and beautiful! The historic building has been lovingly restored and decorated with every detail in mind. We loved hearing the water lapping on the shore with gorgeous views of the water. The beds were very comfortable and there were ample pillows and blankets. The welcome bottle of wine was also a great amenity. We loved our stay and will definitely return.”
