Standing under the Natural Bridge in Slade Kentucky.
Its namesake natural bridge is the centerpiece of the park. The natural sandstone arch spans 78 ft (24 m) and is 65 ft (20 m) high. The natural process of weathering formed the arch over millions of years. The park is approximately 2,300 acres (9 km2) of which approximately 1,200 acres (5 km2) is dedicated by the Office of Kentucky Nature Preserves as a nature preserve.

“Yurt #1 absolutely blew me away. It was every bit as beautiful and whimsical as the photos promised. Heidi went above and beyond from the moment I booked. She helped me arrange a last minute extra night without any hassle, and even made sure there was a warm fire going and a s’mores kit waiting for me when I arrived late in the evening.The bathhouses was hands down the cleanest I’ve ever seen. “The Bluejays Nest was such a fun stay! The tent was beautifully decorated and exactly as described. The bed was so comfortable. The grounds were well maintained. The ultimate in comfort camping at an extremely reasonable price. The trails were well maintained. The grounds were quiet. The bird bath(restrooms) were easy to access and clean. My only wish was that our trip was longer. We had the best time and will definitely be back. ”
