“All was good. Except for the fact that I booked two rooms. One at one end of the hallway, and the other at the other end. Sorry, I just thought they would be together.”

“The motel is older and under remodel. Expect some inconvenience. Price was affordable (competition was not in our price range at all - jacked up prices due to the big marathon in Duluth). Super comfortable bed. Office clerk was fun, courteous, and helpful. We will stop there again.”

“The owners are exploiting a lovely old building as well as their guests. Specific problems: bathroom faucet not attached to sink (how can cleaner not notice this?); welcomed by big running across pillow to be joined by a variety of others on the walls and ceilings (granted it's an old building and not dangerous insects, but little pest abatement); sheer curtains did not keep out light from parking lot shining on bed; several other examples of shoddy work with cheal materials, general lack of……

“Overall it was really good. The only thing was the mirror on the dresser was not good looked dirty (but not sure if it’s just old). And there was not a lightbulb in the lamp on the dresser. Everything else was great! Those are just little things I worked around them! ”

“The room was much smaller than the picture had shown but still nice with a cute ambiance. The a/c had mold in it. Wallpaper on the one wall was coming off like there had been water damage. Although the bed was firm, i was impressed to find it was very comfortable. Couldn't figure out how to work a/c but pushed some buttons and got it. Overall a nice experience for the price”

“My husband and I decided to get away for the weekend. We found this gem. What an amazing stay. Quiet area, beautiful hotel and the restaurant has the best steak I have ever eaten. I can't wait to go back and visit.”
