“The room was very clean with a fresh odor. We were surprised at the modern look throughout the room. The bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows. Felt safe and quiet rooms and hallway. Receptionist was quite friendly and helpful. We only had time for a quick breakfast although there was a variety of breakfast choices.”

“Good but thing walls. As long as other guests are quiet or pets aren’t barking, it’s a nice hotel.”

“The property was okay. Advertised restaurant in motel. There was not one. Lots of road construction in area, making it hard to get to. Very loud ac, sounded like a big truck outside our window...but it was the ac.”

“This is the third or fourth time we have stayed here for baseball tournaments. The staff is always friendly, the rooms are comfortable, and the breakfast is great. The common areas need a little work as the hallway lights would flicker constantly as you would walk to the room. It was creepy. There was no parking due to MULTIPLE trucks with trailers blocking multiple parking spaces which was annoying, but not necessarily the hotel's fault. ”

“Overall, a good one-night stay. I was disappointed that that breakfast was not available at 6:30. I attended a yearly event at Talledega Motor Speedway. I settled for Mc Donald’s. $190/night with no breakfast was not good. My friends stayed at IHG around the corner and had breakfast included. Bed was not comfortable. Hotel staff was very nice and professional. Will consider all options next year when we choose our stay. ”

“The room was exceptionally clean and spacious. The hot breakfast was awesome! I appreciate that this service is offered. I had friends at neighboring hotels that didn’t even offer coffee. I will always choose Holiday Inn when traveling. ”

“I've stayed at this property a lot over the years (about 7 years now). They don't seem to be putting any funds into upkeep so it's getting a bit worn. I had a small issue at check in with the night clerk announcing my room number loudly in a lobby with multiple people. it's a safety issue for me and I did let him know politely that it wasn't ok. The morning clerk was very nice and said she'd let management know. ”

“The setting of the house is so peaceful. The house is lovely. It was equipped with everything we could have ever needed. It is very clean and comfortable. Just a few miles into Heflin, where there are grocery stores and more. I highly recommend staying there. You will not regret it.”
