“Would stay again”

“Would've given 5 stars except that the location, while breathtakingly beautiful and beholden to a sunrise that will leave you breathless, the location is HOT. Ramona is 20°F hotter than San Diego, despite being only 40 min away. And everything is 40 min away via winding mountain roads. The property is amazingly spacious and met all our needs. The pool was beautiful, and the pool table was fun. Extra fridge in the garage allowed us to get a weeks worth of groceries. Special props to the host……

“Clean,I may have not read instructions well but would bring own plates/utensils. They're difficult to serve on. Amber provided fresh duck eggs - so generous! The kids loved gently interacting with the animals, though it was difficult to understand what interactions were ok and what weren't. Really lovely location, lovely host. Exact accommodation we were looking for! ”

“Such a great location, walking distance to the main drag of Julian, but enough off of the beaten path that there weren't swarms of people, even at midday on a Saturday. The only (and I mean only) suggestion I have for improvement was the oddly sweet smoky smell that permeated through the cabin - understandable, as the fireplace seemed very old, and there was a wood fire pit outside, but it was like they tried to cover it with air freshener and it just didn't work.
