"The AC in my room was not working properly. Luckily it was not super hot, but I like it cool at night and even though it was turned all the way down to 60 it did not come on at all and I didn’t realize it till the second night there so it was not comfortable for me at night while I was sleeping. The restaurant was understaffed and service was very slow."

"I guess this is a big oversight on my part, but when I booked the room, I saw that it had a complimentary breakfast included with our stay and a very nice-looking breakfast area from the pictures. Almost all hotels include a hot breakfast, so I just assumed that is what this hotel also offered. We were disappointed to go down in the morning and only have a cold breakfast (cereal, bagels, yogurt). Again, an oversight on my part, but we were really wanting a hot breakfast with some protein in it, so we went to Cracker Barrel instead. Otherwise, we had no issues with our stay. Staff was friendly and the room was clean and comfortable."

"The Elwood was okay for one night. Not sure I'd stay longer than that. Our TV only got a few channels and we weren't able to stream anything despite being told we could. The front desk wasn't helpful when we called with the concern. Our room phone also didn't work to reach the front desk so we had to use our cell phones. The bed was comfortable and the temp in the room was pleasant. The bathroom is tiny but there are some shelves outside the bathroom to store your belongings. Water pressure wasn't good in the sink but the shower was okay. We tried the restaurant on site for brunch. It was tasty and the ambience was good. Liked the outside area with ceramic fire places. Overall it's one of the better places I've stayed in Lexington but in general it's nothing over the top. It's a good safe place to stay for a night."
