The cabin itself was charming and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed (and more).The only minor issue we encountered was the shower, which was a bit too small to use comfortably—though we made it work by using the handheld sprayer. “We stayed five nights at Waters edge retreat with our daughter and her husband and their two children ages six and two. The accommodations were perfect! The cottage was recently updated and spotless! It had ample room for our group, including laundry. It was well stocked with dishes, pots, and pans, spices, extra paper, towel, etc. Dishes and pots and pans were all in beautiful condition! There is no zero entry into the lake, but it is very shallow near shore and we had no problem swimming there...

“My family of four (two boys 9 and 7) spent Monday-Friday and had a great time. The home is bigger than the photos make it seem - the bedrooms are large and the living space is plenty for 4-6 people. The home was very clean, the hosts were extremely responsive, and they have every water toy you could possibly imagine. Highly recommended the farmers market on Wednesdays as well as the ice cream shop (The Frozen Spoon). We would definitely stay again! ”

“Check in was seamless. Kitchen had all essentials.Main Bedroom: the fan didn't work when turning the light off which made that room very hot with the temperatures we had. We had all adults so doors were closed. We had to get more Toilet Paper as we didn't have enough stocked for us. We weren't there very much and we did meet family @Smokeys which was and is a great place to eat!”
