“This is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed so far by hotel.com bookings! No customer service at all!!! We all had to wait so long for someone to come out of the front office for checking in! And they were not in mood of helping their customers, everything were turned down and ‘NO’! One of the guests had no choice but changed to Double-tree immediately after checked in! The frost desk simply doesn’t answer any calls fm rooms, they just said ‘will call u back’ and hanged up, but never called back.……

“The reception staff are very friendly and welcoming. I had a pleasant conversation with them during check-in and check-out. The room was tidy and well-maintained. When I requested additional coffee packs from housekeeping, they generously provided me with more than I expected. The room is well-equipped with plenty of electrical sockets, which is very convenient. However, the Wi-Fi signal was quite weak and could be improved.”

“Nice country house hotel. We stayed in room 401 - which is quite a hike with 2x large suitcases... would have been nice if they had given us directions to drive there instead. Other than that, nice place, nice staff zero complaints.”

“The hotel has a good airy atmosphere and is very spacious. My room was rather cold but, a heater was provided (and yes it was in June). Facilities are very good. Water pressure in my room was weak for the shower but, at the swimming pool the shower pressure there was amazing. Will stay again though.”

“We only had an over night stay but the staff were very welcoming and friendly, room was clean. We had breakfast in the restaurant next morning before leaving and could not fault anything from the service to the meal itself excellent. ”

“Fourth stay at this hotel. It’s a great position for what we need . But the public areas and the rooms are beginning to look very tired . Leather sofa all torn and no support. Breakfast is just alright . On the plus side it’s good value for money ”

“Stay was for one night, so hotel was well placed and convenient for what we required. Room was on the ground floor and had everything we needed. Lovely modern bar which was open when we returned from our concert in Sheffield.”

“Check in: at the bar. Wait for 5 minutes as the staff served at the bar at that time. Wifi: good. Room: spacious, clean. One grocery shop near by, 5 minutes walk. No self laundry service. Breakfast: not buffet except juoice, milk and cereal, ok, basic. ”
