“Stunning resort on a quiet hill overlooking the city. Staff were amazing, the resteraunt was good and the views were stunning. As with the whole area, there were a few issues with water shortages, brief power cuts and sketchy wifi but the staff always do their best to fix whatever they can.”

“The hotel oversees the city and is 30 minutes away from the main attractions. The room was very clean and staff is very friendly. I wish they can supply the bathrooms with shampoos in the future.”

“Fasil, the manager, sent the hotel shuttle to pick us up at the airport. The hotel was modern but with marble floors and high ceilings to keep it cool. It had a great restaurant especially for breakfast which was included. It had a terrace which was obviously a favorite gathering spot for locals as well as guests. Overall the service was great and the rooms were incredibly clean and comfortable.”

“I have traveled the world with my family, and HIGHLY recommend the Mayleko Lodge. I selected the lodge at random, and was glad I did. The service was incredible. The Hotel Manger paid personal visits to our room to ensure that we were doing well, and in one case noted we were late for breakfast, and offered to arrange room service so we would not miss our breakfast. The Hotel Manger also arranged sightseeing with a very knowledgeable local guide that my son and I very much enjoyed. The Food……

“Good choice. Very good service, took us to the airport twice for collecting missing baggage. They served us breakfast at 6am when needed. Excellent Ethiopian coffee! Due to the limited English skills of the restaurant staff, pointing to the menu item is the best option. The reception speaks English well. Some equipment items in the bathroom need repair/replacement. Clean rooms, internet which worked well unless power cuts. ”

“they did not keep the room reservation for us.it was festival time and they gave the room to someone else offered us a tent on the grass ( no mattress ). made us wait long time and behaved very bad. it looks nice in the picture but all around is tents and many people. ”
