“We booked a stay for our honeymoon it was very nice. We did have to go out and get some hand soap as we were unable to locate it. It is very close to the beach so we were able to go several times and walk to the boardwalk. The outside patio was nice and we were able to enjoy breakfast on the outdoor table, the couch furniture was a little dirty so we did not use that. The bed was also a little hard on my own and my husband’s back. There was a list of local places to go which was helpful and a……

“My fiancé and I recently came to town for a doctors appointment and were searching for a dog-friendly spot to crash with our two pups. The Sandcastle did not disappoint. Located in walking distance to great restaurants, shopping, and the beach, we really enjoyed our two night stay here. The outdoor patio area is really nice for sitting out in the sun for both humans and canine visitors. Our pups loved it. We stayed in the downstairs unit which is small but quaint and cozy with just enough room……

“I appreciated the back garden and porch with rocking chair! That was a lovely addition to a sunny spot. The interior is nicely decorated with a New Orleans theme - I loved the faux floor-standing lantern in the bedroom, which feels like a boutique hotel. Kitchen, laundry and bathroom well-equipped and very clean. I found the interior of the property limited in natural light, even on sunny April days. Plenty of lights and lamps in the apartment helped, which is why I appreciated the outdoor……

“The condo itself was very nice, had a little trouble with the TV understanding how it worked otherwise the only other complaint I had was the bathroom could have been cleaner it had mold on shower curtain and leftover hair on the outside of bathtub.”

“My husband, dog, and I got away for the weekend just a bit before beach season. We got lucky with great weather! Our favorite eats came from Seaworthy Kitchen & Bar (awesome mac & cheese) and Kate's Pancake house (Sweet Potato Bliss Pancakes omg). We spent a lot of time beaching at Freeman Park and walking the trails at Carolina Beach State Park. Everything seems very family and dog friendly in the area. Probably wouldn't have stayed here if we were traveling without our dog. Overall great place……

“This property was beautiful and peaceful. The place was nicely decorated. For the property being pricey, the gravel parking lot and the unloading of luggage was very unexpected. One thing I can say is that we got in our steps while unloading. Next time we will bring our travel wagon. 😅. Other than that we enjoyed the stay!”
