That's a place was like brand new. Could still smell the paint and carpet. Very clean, very nice. The view was great (but lake Powell is nearly dust so don't expect big water). The city leaves something to be desired but this is a great launch point for many area attractions.

Morning coffee sitting on the porch with stunning views were the beginning of more beautiful daily explorations. The location of this home was superb and we easily traveled to see all that Page has to offer. Our favorite was star gazing on top of Horseshoe Bend.

Marble Canyon Lodge has been around since the 1920s. There is a historical marker about the Dominguez-Escalante expedition in 1776 that came through here looking for a route to Monterey.

If you are used to city life this is definitely not that. This is a very small, remote town on the Colorado River, with few modern conveniences. Very dry, desert climate. Internet is spotty and slow at best. Beautiful natural area.
