"We had the Executive Sea View room views were amazing. The room was very big and tastefully decorated very clean. Staff all very helpful and polite. Breakfast was nice the choice was plentiful for everyone. Bar area was nice and comfortable overall the hotel is very good and a great location. "The property is great with a great view. The old castle gives an amazing experience. The breakfast was nice and there were many varieties and good choices for vegetarians. Using the sink was challenging as they are using the old two tap system but the tap is too short and the cold water pressure was low in the room so I couldn't use the sink. The bed was too small, short and uncomfortable. Other than this the experience was really good."

"Room was spacious and clean, but tired. Shower is a stand in a bathtub situation. Windows very dirty, and bed was a big, but needed a little TLC. Fine, but 2/3star at best. Breakfast was good, cooked breakfast very good. Service was impeccable. Bar service slow as the Batman appeared to be in the restaurant also. Accept this is Penzance, not Paris, so I’m satisfied, but not blown away, for over £200 a night."
