"This is a decent property in a good location with easy parking on-site. But beware: it has almost no internet access and not great mobile reception either. Thick stone walls and facing the harbour means it lacks line-of-site to mobile towers. My modern phone worked, but data speeds were poor inside the apartment. The provided "wifi" consists of a dinky 4G hotspot which sometimes worked ar 1990s speeds: kilobits/sec. But mostly it didn't work at all. No other complaints, but lack of internet...

Outside was so well designed, in the summer would be perfect . Close to A30 so some noise which for me was noticed as I live in the countryside without background...

"What a fantastic cottage it was amazing the condition the fittings and what a welcome pack. I highly recommend this cottage private garden with a gas barbeque which I used on three occasions treated the barbeque with respect by using foil on the griddles. The lounge was so relaxing with a high quality TV and smart box. Bedrooms and bathroom and a shower room downstairs. Stayed for 2 weeks and the owner even asked if I wanted a mid stay clean!! and fresh towels wow. Highly recommend you will not...

"We had a lovely 3-night stay at the cabin. It was clean, cosy, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable break. The location is excellent, with beautiful beaches and plenty of scenic walks nearby, making it a great base for exploring the area. Debi was a wonderful host—friendly, welcoming, and quick to respond to any questions. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway."

Great if you want to explore the area, st Ives 25 mins by train and st Michael’s Mount 3 miles are nearby with great transport links by bus and train."

"Located between Helston and Penzance on the A394, The Coach and Horses Inn is ideally situated for exploring some of Cornwall’s most beautiful locations. A short walk will take you to the stunning beaches, while a few minutes drive brings you to the historic town of Marazion, home to the ‘must visit’ St Michael’s Mount. We had a comfortable stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and well suited to our short stay. This is a straightforward, no-frills B & B property with the essential amenities, and it met our expectations. Breakfast was a highlight, with a good cooked english breakfast providing a great start to the day. For international travellers, it's worth noting that air conditioning is not a standard feature in many UK hotels, so it's worth checking before booking if this is important to you. Similarly, bar fridges are not commonly included in UK hotel rooms, so it's best not to expect one. Overall, we felt the property offered good value for money."

"3/5 – Decent stay, but tight on space Overall an okay experience. The room was quite small for two people on a week-long trip — storage was limited and we genuinely struggled to find space to open and access our suitcases properly. It's also not a modern hotel, though that's probably fairly typical for the area. There's also no lift, which made carrying heavy luggage up to the room a real struggle. The hotel is right next to a main road, so it was noisy even with the windows closed. On the plus side, the staff were helpful throughout, and the chef was friendly and made a nice impression. The location is a real strength — easy access to both bus and train, so getting around Penzance and beyond was convenient. Given the price we paid, though, it didn't quite feel like it matched the value — for the cost, I'd have expected a bit more in terms of room size and amenities."

"We had a wonderful stay at Mount View Hotel and would highly recommend it. The free parking for guests was a huge bonus and something we really appreciated. The breakfasts were absolutely amazing, with a great selection and everything was delicious. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming and efficient, always happy to help with a smile. The hotel's location is also excellent, making it easy to explore Penzance and the surrounding attractions. We felt very comfortable throughout our stay with our family.
