“Stayed here many times in various rooms. Always spotless and comfortable.”

“The staff and food at dinner were lovely. Breakfast wasn’t run at quite the same standard with a lot of mistakes and delays on orders. The room was nice, although the finer details could do with a bit more attention (dust in corners, dirty grout in bathroom). Bed nice and comfy, unfortunately we were near the road so a bit noisy but that can’t be helped. The resident cats will wake you up early whilst they’re waiting for breakfast though if the traffic doesn’t! We were charged £25 extra for……

“Nice amenities and comfy bed with nice linens. Pub and dining room are downstairs so noise does travel as rooms are over the pub. Staff very friendly. Good food in the downstairs restaurant. Right in town and sidewalks for getting out and about in the small village. ”

“No lift to rooms, not too much of a problem for us as only one flight of stairs. Room was very large and bed comfortable but was so hot, no air con on a very hot day which is understandable in England but the radiators were on. Biggest disappointment for us was breakfast, all self service and the cooked items looked like they had hardly seen the pan. For the price would have expected some cooked to order items.”

“A business trip and had a commercial meeting at ESSAX suite, everything was well! Service was nice, restaurant offers typical British breakfast. Only a problem, the air conditioner will be re-set to the low temperature randomly. ”

“Great place to stay overnight near the Stansted Airport. Breakfast is included and starts from 4am, hot dishes from 6am. Takes 10 to 15 mins from the airport with shuttle bus. ”

“The management team is very friendly and helpful but security sense is not sufficient as the cleaning lady forgot to close the windows. If you do not request too high standard of room service, it would be a good choice.”
