“The seemed designed for construction workers, who made up most of the guests at the time. There’s no breakfast of any sort, no common area in the lobby. Even the lamps were dim, in place more for screen addicts than for reading or seeing clearly. Yes, the rooms ( “suites”) are big, but there’s only one small sofa and no coffee table or foot rest, just a lot of empty space for your heavy equipment or maybe pitching a tent. On the other hand, there aren’t many alternative lodgings in the area.……

“The place was a lot better than I expected! Very cozy, very clean, the beds are comfortable and the home is at the most peaceful location ever. Enjoyed no WiFi and just staring at the window. Life should be this way. The house has everything you need and more. We are coming back”

“Great stuff”

“Front desk Staff Jenna and bartender Allie were outstanding and very accommodating. Food and drink was great! Housekeeping staff used wrong sheets on bed and requires to be taught how to properly make a bed. Recommend asking for a room facing the back as opposed to one on the road in the front.”

“Location”

“Wonderful property! Very clean, great location to Ricketts Glenn trails and great breakfast. Hosts were very friendly, easy to communicate with and cooked a lovely breakfast in am. Highly recommend.”

“Can't say enough good things about our stay with Clay and Dave. They were warm and wonderful hosts, and their home and the location were both beyond beautiful! Our room was spacious, comfortable, and quiet. Breakfast was delicious, and I especially appreciated the flexibility when I made a couple of special requests. One of my favorite things was drinking coffee on the porch and watching the hummingbirds. It seemed like there were hundreds of them, and we got to know their habits after being……

“Our stay was perfect! We would not have changed a thing. The host thought of everything. It was nice waking up and having a cup of coffee before hiking the trails! This home is so cozy, cute, and super clean. Will definitely be staying again!”

“My husband and I stayed in the bluebird room for 3 nights for an anniversary hiking trip. The bed was very comfortable and the room was immaculately clean. Our hosts Claytonna and Dave couldn’t have been nicer. Our breakfasts were delicious. The property was beautiful and Dave built us a mean fireplace fire to sit and relax at after our long days of hiking. I would highly recommend this property and hope to stay here again.”

“Will def be back, perfect getaway spot to disconnect from the city”

“The room was very clean and the Host was great. Came around to see if we needed anything. ”
