“Conveniently located right off the main highway—can be a little tricky to navigate during peak times, but still manageable. Check-in was quick and easy, with friendly staff and a good-sized parking lot so parking isn’t a problem even with all of the trucks for the in-town workers in the back. The room was clean, spacious, quiet and the bed was very comfortable. TV selection was great as well as the hot water temperature and pressure. There are a couple of restaurants and a gas station nearby,……

“It was a last minute decision to book this cottage for our stay in Mt Vernon and also my first booking on Vrbo. The host replied quickly made it easy. She even let us gain access to the cottage early so we could do some romantic decorating for the newlyweds. Thank you so much it was excellent. ”

“First off the non-refundable reservation disappeared. I had to try to find a phone number to get it straightened out. However the front desk people were extremely helpful and got it straightened out. Second, the air conditioner was in the bathroom area and did not work well. The sheets though clean were scatchy, there was no water pressure the shower unless you turned it full hot, the "breakfast" was granola bars and apples, there was light showing between the door and outside, the door frame……
