“The hotel’s location is excellent. Being close to the sea means you don’t have to walk far to enjoy the beautiful beach scenery. The hotel pool is clean, the water is not cold, and you can swim in it no matter the season. The food in the restaurant is delicious and reasonably priced, and all the staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are quite spacious and immaculately clean. However, if you’re unlucky enough to stay on the first floor, especially in a room near the restaurant, you’ll still……

“We were a group of 10 (ages18 to 75) and we all felt comfortable with plenty of space to relax. The entire space was CLEAN, inside and out! The bedrooms and bathrooms were a great size with all the linens and towels needed. The wall bunk beds were comfortable too. The enclosed patio with furniture and an outdoor rug was perfect to hang out in. The kitchen was well equipped and grocery delivery service was excellent!!! Parking was enclosed and we felt safe. We had an extra large SUV and……

“Our room was very nice. (Rm 229) It was a little noisy at times since it right above the entrance to the Gutter Bar. But we loved the GutterBar. Bowling, Pool tables, foozeball,shuffleboard and Other fun games. Lafayette has a great layout and stylish. The pool is gorgeous and heated. The staff is incredible. If you need to charge your car you need to bring your own plug. That was a little disappointing. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“The hotel was clean, nice staff, continental breakfast and a parking garage that was safe. There was a private outdoor area to sit in outside the room also, looking at the pool. The hotel is on the boardwalk, which made it nice to walk our service dog. ”

“I've stayed at this hostel twice now and have had a wonderful experience each time. The room is really cute (I've booked the private room) and the staff are friendly. The hostel is in a convenient location - if you're driving, there is free street parking in the area. I absolutely will plan to visit again next time I'm in SD. ”
