Trelissick Garden National Trust was also a good place to visit, especially if you are National trust members, the gardens there are beautiful. "

"The cottage was lovely. It had no Wi-Fi or 4g signal so planning the next days agenda was impossible until you drove out of the site. Also apart from the on site bar (the staff were wonderful) there was no where to walk easily to get something to eat. "

"This was our 2nd stay in this property and we feel it is showing signs of wear. The extractor fan switch in the bathroom is hanging off, the bath plug totally disintegrated, the mattress on the bottom bunk bed is really uncomfortable the springs can be seen as well as being felt. On the positive the property was clean with nice bedding and towels. Has a great selection of crockery, pans etc for self catering and we were able to enjoy the good weather sitting outside at the benches and table."

"3rd time staying here - love the house and position is great to explore the lizard. Damp was really bad this year - walls were wet and mouldy in places and kitchen cupboards very musty - cleaners were great coming out and cleaning up some of the mould. Probably damp build up if it had been shut up for a while. But we always enjoy our stay - beds comfy and loads of room for our family and little dog "

"Lovely little cottage with tons of character and a nice deceptively roomy modern interior. Great location for a stay with walks and access to the water near by in a quiet charming village. We stayed for 3 nights as a family get away for my parents 70th, we couldnt make the initial dates as unfortunately my father tested positive for covid the night before we were due to visit.
