"good room, great price, good location. staff friendly. The hotel is a little rundown and getting old and showing her age but a full renovation is coming in October. The hotel would have been a grand hotel in her day and will look forward to coming back one day when she is renovated. There are numerous bad reviews of this hotel but we found it it a good place to stay. We didn't have a beach side room but for somewhere to dump your bags a comfy bed and room did the job. "

"Had a poor experience at this hotel I would not visit again I checked in 31st March had a long drive down the woman on the reception was not helpful at all we checked in slightly earlier but she just said check in is 3pm I get that I’ve travelled the world my point is she was just rude she couldn’t even suggest in waiting in the lobby, I had to take all my cases back to the car as there is no direct car park for this hotel which is another joke no one tells you this till you arrive so they take your keys away we don’t know where it gets parked and they keep the keys, well I wasn’t going to let that happen. Went for dinner that night the guy that welcomed us was very nice and welcoming as for the other staff which really let’s this places down are very lazy not pro active I asked for 2 cocktails a pornstar Martini I’ve never seen a pot rat martini served like this before was so watered down and the presentation was poor, dinner was good apart from the desert chocalte pudding more like rock hard straight out the freezer when asked the waiter he said he would let the chef know that’s no good like I said poor customer service let’s thisplaced down then at brekkie my chair broke in front of everyone again the staff are not active at all so lazy I had to ask if I could move tables and then on top of that we had to wait for our cooked breakfast over 30 mins bearing in mind the hotel is not busy yet so I dread to think what it would’ve like at peak My Tv in room and internet crap "

"Myself and the little one arrived a little earlier than expected and were promptly greeted by the host, who was warm and welcoming. He kindly gave us a brief tour of the amenities before showing us to our room, which was immaculately clean. The continental breakfast was enjoyable, and overall we had a very pleasant stay. We would definitely return."

"We had a 4 night stay at the 2 bedroom Seaview Appartments. I can honestly say, it was one of the best stays we've had. The discription was exactly as stated: A Luxury Seaview Appartment with seaviews in every room! It was such a restful holiday, our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer! All aspects of our stay from booking, checking in and checking out was pretty seamless and the owner, Ashley was great with keeping us informed at every step and very easygoing. The destination Carbis Bay itself was just lovely with one of the most stunning beaches we've seen in the UK. Very much deserving of its blue flag status. The near proximity of the property to the Carbis Bay train station was also an added bonus. It meant we could just leave the car and hop on the train to explore the nearby towns such as St. Ives and Hayle. All in all, the accommodation was first class, with everything absolutely spotless, in working order and very homely and comfortable. The little thoughtful touches like the welcome provisions of cornish goodies such as the cream tea, bottle of milk and even a bottle of wine was very much appreciated. The appartment also had quite a generous designated parking bay which was very unusual. We were particularly glad about this as we could park our SUV very comfortably with room to spare. We would stay again in a heartbeat and would highly recommend this appartment to anyone especially those looking for a stress-free holiday. We look forward to visiting again "

"Right from check in to the entire stay, it was comfortable and hassle free. Location is perfect with beach just walking distance away from the resort. The property was clean with all devices and appliances in very good working condition. The living area of our suite was big and good enough for our little one to play. It was provided with basic food stuff and the fridge had juices,butter,cheese & milk so the immediate need was sorted. Domino and 4 in a row were also provided for kids to play - a thoughtful way of hospitality. We’d definitely book it again when we visit St Ives again. Definitely recommend it to families looking for a relaxing holiday with kids. "

"What a great stay, we had the family room and it was very comfortable Really clean and would highly recommend. We were a little apprehensive of the communal kitchen but couldn't be more wrong. It had everything in there and was really clean. Would definitely come back again 5⭐️ all the way"

"The setting was perfect, the description of a woodland retreat was spot on. We loved sitting gazing out at the squirrels playing in the trees and were lucky enough to have them come up to the door and peer in. After leaving out almonds for them we had daily visits.Seagulls Rest was beautifully styled, it felt welcoming and cosy. Thank.you to Tina who was so helpful with our enquiries.
