“From the moment we entered the Inn, it was like stepping back into time. We were amazed at how well preserved the property was, all while offering all of the present day comforts and amenities. We were immediately welcomed by Michael at the front desk. He was very nice and showed us around the property, and we felt at home. Our stay was wonderful, and we can’t wait to return. ”

“We enjoyed our stay at this unique property. The communication and ease of checking in was excellent and the location exceptional for a quick stay in downtown Gulfport. The stairs were not an issue for us and the amenities were fine. The quirky decor and extra room with a sofa added to the comfort. Two free cocktails that accompanied the room’s description were nice. (We stayed in the Paloma room.) Only one thing was amiss - contrary to the instructions, guests in the hotel did not receive 10%……

“We stayed in Room 3, if the other rooms were as great as ours then it would be hard to beat this location. The view of the river and sunset were awesome. The restaurant service would be hard to beat anywhere and the food was excellent. All in all we loved our stay at Surry Seafood Inn.”

“Alexis checked us in and was very helpful when we needed towels or anything for our room. We stayed in 106 and it had it's own private entry way. The only thing was that it was next to the conference room and they did have a meeting one day while we were there and could hear them before the meeting started. We didn't mind that but some people might. The room was clean and neat.
The Tavern next door has free breakfast from 8-10 a.m. it was really good and the staff was very nice.
