“The small boutique hotel is very charming and quaint. Don’t expect the pool you see on the cover photo. That pool with columns does not exist. Instead, the pool is about 3 feet deep and a small square. There was very loud music that stared at 6:00 AM on a Sunday morning from across the street. You could feel the base through the mattress. Also, be prepared for load barking dogs. They have ear plugs in the room for a reason. We enjoyed ourselves, but you should know everything before you book.”

“Truely an amazing lodge. Greeted with kindness and treated like one of the family. I was a little weary on arrival to the lodge because I had gotten stuck in the sand while surfing in el pescadero. “We had a great stay at Sarah and Ken’s. The view is spectacular, hot tub and pool a huge plus. We could see the whales jumping in the distance. You’ll definitely want an SUV if you’re staying in the area as it’s all dirt roads, and follow Sarah’s (not Google maps) directions. To note, the house is shared with other guests or the owners, unless you book the full villa. Rooms have a nice mini fridge, but no access to a kitchen for cooking. We had a great stay and would recommend it to others!”
