Room was small as expected but usable - only there to sleep anyway. Water pressure was great in the shower. Restaurant was great and I’d recommend grabbing the breakfast plan as it’s delicious and a great way to start a busy day.

The main area is cute, but the rooms itself are not very clean - you can see some clear areas where they could do a better job, corners aren't vacuumed or dusted.. When I opened the drawer for the safe there was something sticky underneath by the handle.. The sheets themselves seemed clean and the bathroom was slightly better (though dusty underneath the rolling shelf). Overall it's a great area, but for the price I would rather stay elsewhere. Hotel staff was not very friendly at all; I arrived early to leave my bags and the woman seemed very confused/annoyed I was there early. The only staff who was a bit friendly was an older woman working the day I was checking out ironically.

Room was clean and a decent size for two people. Not a lot of privacy with the toilet and shower. AC was great and we could control it. Convenient location with trains and 7/11 right outside the door. Staff was helpful and we sent out bags to kyoto using the hotel. We had two large luggage and it cost us around $60NZD. Would stay here again!
