“A great set up, in a separate building. It was good to be able to come and go as I needed. A comfortable bed and good facilities. I wondered if I'd hear the road all the time, but I didn't hear it at all, and it wasn't very busy anyway. So that was great too. Really lovely and interesting walks straight from the house it'self and further afield as well. The Lime kilns etc were very interesting and the various reservoirs nearby were beautiful. The Autumn colours in the woodland and Calke Abbey……

“The hotel is in beautiful grounds with stunning views over the golf course and countryside. The staff are all very friendly, and the food was delicious. Our room was very spacious, with the only downside being it was dark, with a small window overlooking a roof. Such a shame not to have had a view”

“The only thing I can criticise on is the wall sockets . The table in front of the mirror is to high so your unable to use a plug in the socket unless you move the table out from the wall”
