“I was on on a solo motorcycle trip Trail of Tears. This was an excellent stay heading home. Convenient to gas stations, restaurants, it was clean, and I felt safe. They were so nice. Thank you from a tired female biker!!!”

“Very clean and the breakfast was great!! Thank you for recycling! The only negative was the distance from the elevator to our room at the very end of the hallway. One of our members in our group was having problems walking, and I didn’t book a handicap room.”

“The motel was convenient off the interstate, check in was quick and easy. Room was comfortable. They did have a quick continental breakfast area, and was able to grab a couple of muffins on the way out. My only suggestion to travelers would be to ask for a room on the backside of the motel. The frontside faces some fast food restaurants and did get some late night noise and the trash truck was emptying dumpsters at 5:30 Saturday morning. Not a huge deal, I just went ahead and got up and……

“This is a beautiful and comfortable place to stay. It feels remote. There is no light pollution, nor is there any noise of traffic at night. The only noises were those of the birds and the creek, which were lovely. I felt that I was deep in the woods, yet the place is not very far from a grocery store and downtown. The ambiance of the cottage is soothing. My stay made for a wonderful retreat. I hope to return. ”

However, there is a stale, strong lived-in odor to the home that is reminiscent of your grandparents’ house. All bath towels, the stained and torn master carpet, and pilling couch are way past needing replaced and give a shabby appearance to the home.
