“We booked a last-minute 2-night stay at Heythrop Hotel & Spa in mid-April for a birthday, with a great deal including breakfast, dinner, and wine. The estate is beautiful and peaceful, with an impressive manor setting. Check-in was smooth, though parking can be a long walk—use the drop-off if needed. “The room was really dark and I didn't like the open plan layout with the toilet in the bedroom (no privacy). The room décor was tired and the jacuzzi didn't work. Only 5 hangers which the staff quickly remedied. Lovely long decking area but it hadn't been cleaned and had no decking furniture so you couldn't sit outside. "I had a generally pleasant stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly overall, with some providing especially good service, though there is still a bit of room for improvement in consistency. The highlight was definitely the view overlooking the F1 race track, which was absolutely the best and made the stay quite special. However, the bathroom design could be improved. The placement of the towel hooks was not very convenient, which made it slightly uncomfortable to use. Overall, a good stay with a fantastic view, but a few small details could be refined to enhance the experience. "
