"On arrival we were given very friendly welcome, and we're told upgrade us to deluxe room, which we were very pleased with. Room was on upper floor, and had lift to second floor then few stairs to our room. Room was very comfortable, with sofa and chair, good size bathroom with bath and walk in shower, and comfortable bed. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice, and we also had dinner one night and was ok. Would definitely recommend."

"The reception staff were very welcoming and explained when and where meals would be taken. The room was clean and bright and the on suite was good but I would have prefered a walk in shower instead of a bath and shower. We went down to the bar and had a drink and then had a walk around the large grounds which was very pleasant. At dinner the staff were very helpful and pleasant. I had the nicest starter I have ever had Mediteranian vegetable and Goats Cheese tart and the chicken main was very tasty and juicy. The best meal out I have had in ages. There was a lot of choice for breakfast I liked that you could serve yourself I would certainly use this hotel again."

"Stayed for business, very good indeed and made a nice change from the traditional chains. WiFi worked great, shower was great, staff very friendly, room had some nice lighting touches. The only thing which was slightly inconvenient was the renewal of parking each day. Stayed for 3 nights but can only pay / book every 24 hours which either means you have to remember each day and / or watch the times. Arrived at 4pm, paid for 24 hours but then had to renew the following morning first thing as I wouldn’t have been back to the hotel in time later in the day. Would be far more convenient to be able to pay for the full duration up front, one less thing to worry about but overall that’s a minor thing, especially if you remember to do it!"

"We were warmly greeted at reception by Hayley. We checked in and booked breakfast for the morning. Hayley also gave us bottled water for our room. Our room was excellent, clean and comfortable. We enjoyed a beautifully cooked full English breakfast, with fruit juice and coffee and the option of yoghurt and fruit. Yes, the hotel needs some TLC in some areas, but the excellent customer service more than made up for it."
