“This was our second time staying here. First time we were in the lower apartments. This time we rented the second and third floor. Four adults. The property is just wonderful, right on the Roaring River. One night there was a lot of rain, and the river came up a lot and was really roaring! The facility is quite nice, but had a few issues: The place needs a good deep cleaning. Quite a bit of the plates and cups cracked and chipped. “We stayed at this property with our son (8) and his friends and their families. The house was great for young kids, lots of room for them to run around and play. But cozy where could all spend time together. The kids loved the tennis court, basement and running around in the back yard. The property is approx 35 mins from Hawks Ridge tubing where we went Saturday and the kids had a blast. We were thrilled to know that Doordash delivers to the property to feed an army of hungry young kids.……

“Beautiful, peaceful, restful, weekend. Great cabin for large groups of family or friends. We were there to support a friend running the Grayson Highlands Ultra Marathon, just over the state line in VA. This cabin was a great location about 20 min from the park. We were able to easily drive back and forth throughout the day to meet our friend at race check points, as well as be close to outdoor recreation for the kids. Easy 20 min. trip to West Jefferson, NC when we needed groceries or other……

“This property is absolutely stunning! We brought the "matures" and one teenager and there was something for everyone. The only caveat was the code to get in didn't work when we arrived. That is always a stressful way to kick off, but the realty company handled within minutes. And we were able to access with a key and a new code. Enjoyed this spacious lodge for a long weekend. We would definitely stay again.”
