“Loved this cottage. The lake is beautiful, water is nice enough for swimming and we had lots of fishing , kayaking and paddle board fun! Beautiful sunsets. Cozy cottage with lots of extra blankets which we loved. Nice and clean. Love the screened in porch for morning coffee and just to sit and listen to the water. Thank you so much. ”

“Came with a few friends and my dog. We had a great stay! It was exactly what we were looking for - something remote and rustic. Still had everything we needed - working wifi, an (outdoor) shower with warm water, a clean outhouse, a lovely dock on the water, plenty of firewood, and close enough to town. The views are amazing. Laurie and Kevin were super helpful and communicative.”

“We can not thank you enough for our dream vacation at the most wonderful location. We loved the very small town of Westmeath. The large cottage is superb in every way. It had a cool inviting sub level with bunk beds for kids to build memories, with movies and cards for late night. The Pond is brilliantly sculpted and had frogs and beautiful Lilli pads and a rare visiting mink. Kayaks and paddle boats were provided as well as cabanas. We fished from a safe platform and caught a few. A short……

“Stayed 10 days with 5 adults & 2 small children under five. The hosts were friendly, helpful & easily reachable. Family home atmosphere -big enough to escape the crowd & cozy enough for family entertainment. Outdoor activities - canoeing, kayaking, building sandcastles, swing set, sauna, Indoor games galore for rainy days. Mosquitoes & some poison ivy were noted but the same was noted at a nearby must-see : Bonnechere Caves. Cottage was very clean. Full kitchen & lots of cupboard space. We all……
