“Location..it has beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. ( need a car) Rooms are very comfortable, tea /kettle etc. Stairs are a little steep. staff are lovely ,had a very pleasant stay. We arrived Saturday lunch time, they had a party of 40 in, but fitted us in and it was delicious! staff attentive and it arrived quickly so all good, so I am very sad ( and surprised ) to say breakfast was poor ! we didn't opt for the buffet and cooked ,rather just the cooked, it took ages to appear……

“Warmly welcomed, staff all professional, friendly helpful. The atmosphere is peaceful, location stunning, loads to see in the area and wonderful walks. The grounds were fantastic to walk our dog , safe and secure.. plenty of wildlife. Will be even better when the Hide has been renovated . Bed was very comfortable and room spotless, food was good and well presented and breakfast was included in our deal . A very enjoyable visit , will be back soon”

“The host was very friendly,but under the influence. I really wanted to like this BnB as it looked so nice and querky on the pictures. I booked a room that was meant to have a private bathroom, but in fact it was just a toilet in a wardrobe and no "designer toiletries" the bed was not comfortable at all, but at least the bedsheets and the towels were clean. The rest of the house was dirty and smelled of very old and accumulated cigarettes smoke a d weed, it was quite revolting. There was only……

“Great hotel with facilities for either exercising and lots of enclosed land for dogs to run around . Rooms are large, spacious and very clean with ample storage and fridge. Also in very good/ new condition. It was also nice to see that they allocated a nice room that was pet friendly. The bar area which allows your dogs to eat with you is also very comfy and welcoming.Great service and hearty breakfast. Would definately stay again.”
