The location was perfect for our stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The food was excellent. The rooms were spotless, free organised car parking. Good access to beauty spots within the Dales. We would definitely stay again

The Woolly Sheep is a lovely base for a trip to Skipton and the surrounding area. The rooms are spacious, well decorated and maintained with plenty of storage available should you need it. The restaurant and bars are comfortable and the food is very good. Being summer, we made use of the outside courtyard to sit and enjoy a lovely glass of chilled wine! The bars must also be lovely and cosy in the winter so that may warrant another trip. The staff are excellent, helpful and friendly. One thing to be aware of - there are lots of steps and stairs which should be expected given the age of the property. However, I would have no hesitation in recommending this delightful Inn.

It was very hot when we were there but thankfully there was a fan in the room. The bed was a superking and probably the most comfortable we’ve been in for a long time. The staff were absolutely fab and the breakfast was good with plenty of choice. A huge boost to our trip was the parking facility the premises has, town centre parking with no additional charge, what a result! If we should choose to return to Skipton this will definitely where we’ll choose to stay.

A lovely pub with well appointed rooms, we stayed in a superior room. Our room was at the front on the top floor and the route to the room was up and down stairs! It was ok for us we only had an overnight bag. There was some road noise with the window open but a fan was available in the room so we closed the window. Free parking was great and the staff and food were excellent. I would return to this accomodation.
