“The hotel is a few minutes walk from Mallaig train station, and the ferry terminal. There are two supermarkets and a few restaurants around the village so that one can easily get refreshments. I was amazed that the hotel is in a delicate traditional wooden decor, and has a relaxing garden terrace. I also enjoyed the window view a lot! The room was clean and it’s reception was excellent. I strongly recommend anyone who plan to visit any Hebrides islands, give the hotel a chance,.”

“What an amazing find…a beautifully maintained hotel in the heart of one Scotland’s most beautiful places. The rooms are a good size but the attraction is that they are exquisitely decorated and well-equipped. “Ian's lodge proved to be super quaint in a quiet part of Kilchoan and up a slight hill, with a view of the water in the distance. Secluded surroundings making an evening on the porch ideal and private. Nice over hang making sit outs in the rain ideal and atmospheric. Very close to Kilchoan grocery store which also has a petrol station and with Kilchoan Hotel only a 5 minute walk away. So you have all the amenities on your doorstep. Great location for exploring the furthest part of Ardnamurchin……
