"My wife and I had long fantasized about booking a villa in Tuscany and bringing our whole family for a gathering. This place was beyond our wildest dreams. The listing was a little inaccurate in that there was more space than advertised. We had as many as 25 family and friends there at one time and never felt crowded with five separate apartments and 11 bedrooms. We wanted ambiance of a time gone by and this place delivered. Flaviano, the host, has put so much style and love into this place. He was super helpful, always friendly, and very responsive when there was a problem. The grounds were impeccable, the pool sparkling clean and the large lawn was perfect for our kids and grandkids. The location was perfect with a short walk to shops, gelato, a pizzeria and a world class restaurant. We loved the outdoor dining table that was big enough for our group. The taverna was a good hangout and place for us to dine on a few cool nights. Flaviano threw a pizza party for us and we had to force him to stop making pizzas. The only negative for us was the lack of good quality kitchen utensils as most of the family love to cook. Otherwise, a great place for a large group to stay. We loved the fact that Pieve is relatively untouristed and we were the only tourists in town. I can not recommend this place highly enough. Thank you Flaviano and Tuscan Retreats."

"My spouse and I held our wedding here and it was beyond perfect. We are from the states and had a group of 20 join us for the weekend of our wedding. The villa was more perfect than we all imagined! The owners were very friendly and Marie the coordinator was amazing. Our wedding dinner was made by the owner and it was so delicious. I couldn’t recommend this property more- we can’t wait to go back one day."

"Being the first time we spent significant time in the Italian Alpines, our stay exceeded our expectations. The area and views from the property are beautiful and lend themselves to relaxing, peaceful days. The house is about an hour from major cities and the shore, so a bit out of the way if you want tour every day. The house is spacious and has plenty of room for two families with kids. There is plenty of space for the kids to play and romp and the pool will keep them busy for many hours. The house is adequately supplied and all the utilities worked well. Enrico was a gracious host bringing us local cheeses, breads, and recommending great restaurants in the area. A very relaxing, easy going Tuscan vacation."
