The house was very clean, comfortable and all everything we needed. Our favorite part of the day was sundown in the porch rocking chairs and night rain storms on the porch. We enjoyed coffee on the porch each morning, listening to only the sounds of the birds. The drive up is about 15 minutes in a gravel dirt road but if you're familiar with navigating mountain roads like us, you'll do just fine. Perfect getaway and highly recommend! ##### Shanna S. Check-in was very easy, and the host was very responsive with great communication—even sharing a list of their favorite local places to visit. We enjoyed sitting in the rocking chairs at night listening to the sounds of nature, and the hot tub on the lower deck was spectacular for relaxing after a long day of hiking and sightseeing. We even spotted a black bear cub, which made the trip extra special. Even had flashlights and emergency lantern when power went out after a storm the first night and the host messaged to check on us. Myself, a coworker, and her b/f rented the cabin for an extended birthday weekend stay! Was absolutely thrilled with the peacefulness of the stay. Very cool quite mornings spent sitting in rocking chairs or laying across the porch swing on the lower level enjoying a cup of coffee! The grill was a fantastic asset as it was used daily for lunch/dinner! The host was very responsive with answers to any questions I had and communicated fantastically prior to the stay letting us know what to expect getting to the property & things to do around town!
