Wonderful atmosphere- you’re staying at a retreat center which is homey, high vibrational, and has been lovingly cultivated over decades. It’s lush south kona heaven. Highly recommend. Breakfast also top notch.

Dragonfly Range BnB is a very rustic, peaceful, friendly and warmly inviting place for vacationers and folks seeking health related guidance. Do not expect typical condo or hotel type accommodations, but rather enjoy intimate facilities that enable a true nature centric experience with a homestyle atmosphere. The hosts and interns are a delightful group who are there to help in all ways. The rooms are basically quite clean, although the overall grounds lack that squeaky clean appearance, which is why we did not rank that component very high. Breakfast is good, with lots of fruit, oatmeal, eggs, toast, coffee, tea, etc., but be prepared to venture out for evening meals.

Very cool place in the jungles of the big island. Feels like you’re one with nature. The host, Barbara, is so friendly and helpful. She makes lots of food for breakfast and there’s a great outdoor spot to eat and relax. Had a great time and would definitely stay there again.

The ranch was fascinating, peaceful, and refreshing. The breakfast was fantastic. The staff was splendid. We could not have asked for a better start to our first ever visit to Hawaii!

Barbara and her team at the Dragonfly Ranch make you feel like family as soon as you arrive. It was such a treat for my birthday getting to spend a full 8 days alongside my husband in this beautiful jungle oasis, filled with meaningful and spiritual conversations, cuddles with the community of loving and therapeutic pets, and lots of laughs. This really is a retreat and sanctuary for the people who embrace it as such, providing a welcome escape from daily distractions and positive healing energy for those who need it - whether they consciously realize it or not. We highly recommend planning for an extended stay here in order to fully enjoy the impact of its caretakers and energy on your mind, body, heart, and soul.

We had the most charming stay and couldn’t recommend more - we were just sad we couldn't stay longer! Barbara is a wonderful host, the breakfast is organic and delicious, the views are gorgeous, and the grounds are truly magical. It’s perfect for families who love nature but also comfy beds and running water! We will be back for sure and next time we’ll stay longer :-)

Like you’re staying in a tree house. Very neat property. If you don’t like bugs, lizards, living in nature don’t stay here. We really enjoyed it. Sunset and water view from our room, the Lomi Lomi suite. Handmade breakfast was waiting for us in the am. Friendly and communicative staff. Good location too.

This is the perfect place for anyone who wants to stay in a jungle away from it all. The windows are screens and in the Hawaiian heat it feels like glamping. And the breakfasts and staff are wonderful too. The National park is very close and we visited multiple times to enjoy hiking, beaches, and the historical elements. The snorkelling/swimming area was also very busy. And the ranch offered snorkel gear and other things to make sure you could make the most of your time there!

A very unusual place not a Holiday Inn so don’t stay there if that’s what you are looking for. Staff is great chat in kitchen while cutting up fresh fruit. Knowledgeable about local places and customs. Never slept so good ocean breeze fresh rain and frog singing

We were in the Lomi Lomi room and I loved the view of the ocean from it. The room has a unique decor that makes the experience even better. The bed was cozy and clean. There is also a comunal kitchen and fridge just putside the room.

The breakfast food was healthy and good. The bathroom facilities are quaint - toilet and shower in one space - outside the room. Watch for a frog in the toilet! It did have an ocean view from the dining area. Very fun place if you're into alternative lifestyles. Enjoyed seeing the outdoor areas - garden, illuminarium, paths, many neat plants and trees. The frog and geko chorus at night would have kept me awake if I didn't use ear plugs. Good experience for one night!

Breakfast was wonderful! Don’t be in a hurry! I was leary when I arrived in the dark…but fell in love with the place in the daylight! It was a great adventure! No glass windows…only screens. The frogs were loud…but slept so good! If you like noise machines, you will love it! The bedroom had a fan if needed. They had beach equipment to borrow if wanted. A wonderful snorkeling spot was next to the National Park…just a few miles from the Dragonfly Ranch. The ocean view was amazing! Barbara (and her staff) was a great hostess!
