If you're spending some time in Opihihale, Pebbles Beach and South Kona Beaches are top sights worth seeing.

While visiting Kona Paradise, you might make a stop by sights like Pebbles Beach and South Kona Beaches.

The room decor is very unique and full of history. The back yard is full of surprises with nature and even a forest movement studio! Stuff are very friendly and easy to talk to. The owner herself is nice to chat with. Breakfast is included and delicious and healthy! We love this place!!

We stayed Jan19-23 2026. This is not your typical VRBO. This new beach house is luxurious, even posh! Wonderful deck with lots of comfortable furniture and great ocean views. The house accommodates 10 people, you do have some stairs and the wrap around deck is where we spent all our time. At the Big Island everywhere is a drive to get to, so plan accordingly. Visit the historic walled refuge of Hawaiian lawbreakers, the only place on the island where their lives would be spared.

Hike, kayak or take a boat cruise to the monument celebrating the life of the famous British explorer.

After visiting Painted Church, make a plan to see the other sights and activities in Honaunau-Napoopoo. Wander the seaside and beautiful beaches in the area.

Captain Cook is great. Go to Rob's Cafe and Bakery.
There are some activities that can be done without spending a lot of money
the area is very low key, no major stores, chain restaurants. lots of local restaurants, farmers where you can buy local fruits/vegs & coffee. I love the area.
Bay view farm coffee on painted church road was excellent.
We ate breakfast at The Coffee Shack twice. Is a very special place, amazing view, good food and service.
