“The cabin was the perfect weekend getaway for me and my husband. We were in the area to kayak the Kickapoo River and the cabin was close to where we launched (about 8 mins). It was cozy to relax in after 12.5 miles of kayaking. We enjoyed sitting outside, seeing wildlife including a deer, and hearing an owl at night. We plan to be back!”

“Parking was fine until the roofers asked me to move my car because they needed the space for a huge dumpster. Roofers? While someone is using your property? Really frustrated that the host apparently had NO IDEA that Wednesday would start with a lot of hammering and noise around 7am. They were throwing all manner of debris off the roof, a lot of it landing on the porch, making it a dangerous proposition to enter and exit the property. “Nice place for large group.Listed 8 beds but only 7. Reached out to host for 8th bed but no reply. Luckily found a single air mattress. No sheets/pillows but found extra blankets. Double bunk has single on top. No other bed as shown in picts. Great place for dogs. Pretty area but need to drive on dirt road to get to VRBO . 15min drive to Chapters on the Horizon. Brought breakfast food but pans had bad scratches in coating so couldn’t use. FYI coffee maker is Keurig but need to bring your own……
