“This is a typical roadside motel with units 1-10 side by side. It is clean and roomy. The staff friendly and helpful though we didn’t really interact much. The bed was large and comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised that there was a small working refrigerator (with small freezer that worked really well). The motel is Dog friendly. The downside: There was no hair dryer in the room. 1 ply toilet paper. AC window unit poorly fit into the wall. Ugly green bathroom paint (like from a grade……

“The room was clean with ample space to park. The entire property is looking a little rough around the edges but I wouldn't let that stop you from staying there. You can clearly hear traffic noise but that didn't bother us. Our only issue was the Roku TV which kept trying to connect which made it impossible to watch.”

“Our room stunk horribly. I know they allow pets but our room smelled like it must of had a pet in there for a while that pee’d on the carpet. Nearly left after checking in but could not get a refund. To add fuel to the fire, we selected this hotel and paid $60 more than a couple others we were looking because the pictures looked nice compared to competitors in the same ratings range. This staff needs to address the room smell because I know I can’t be the first to bring it up.”

“We spent three nights at this motel while taking day trips on the Elroy-Sparta trail. Overall, the accommodations were good. The rooms were spacious and clean, while the breakfast was freshly cooked and with a range of choices. I also liked the 24 hr coffee available in the lobby. On the worrisome side, the pool was not open, the charger electric vehicles did not work, and the room cleaning was not available. The staff was helpful. Although the motel is about one and half miles from Sparta and……

“No parking because of a semi blocking a row of spaces”

“Recently refreshed property. Definitely get the "mom and pop" feel, in a good way. Rooms are not overly spacious, but very clean and functional. The heated outdoor pool was a plus and every staff member we ran into, ask how are stay was and if they could do anything. Short ride from the Elroy/Sparta trail and 10min walk to many food/drink choices. Will stay here again on our next trip to Sparta.”

“Amazing motel!! Will absolutely stay again. Clean room, did smell like cigarettes - not enough to permeate hair, blankets, etc. - still worth it. Water pressure and AC were PHENOMENAL! Seriously, water pressure was awesome. This was a saving grace after being on the road for 48hrs. Very nice community and safe.”

“Bed sheets and blankets were stained, towels were stained, bathroom smelt of mold and must. Walls and stuff on them. Floors weren’t vacuumed. Fridge didn’t seal shut. Pool wasn’t working. Staff wasn’t there half the time. Seemed like everyone was on drugs and lived there. DONT STAY HERE!!!!!”

“Key card couldn't open outside door making it hard to unload luggage. Had to drive around property to get front desk clerk to open. Found 2 live bugs on carpet. Carpet unclean due to maintenance workers.”
