“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bar W Lodge. It was very last minute and the host was so prepared to receive us. Spacious gathering area, kitchen had everything with lots of room to move around as we made food for our group of 70, rooms were clean with comfy beds and we slept A LOT of people in them. The cabins are cozy and cute. Nice big lawn area for playing yard games. We want to make this our "Spot" for reunions. Two reservoirs within 30 minutes for boating, swimming, paddle...

Kitchen was well appointment and owners were very accommodative. Enjoyed our time. Kids and their friends said it was one of the best trips. ”

“Very well maintained, with everything we needed to host a bridal Shower. We also used this property for relatives that came to Huntsville for a wedding. Very nice place to relax. Rest, and get ready for activities for the wedding. The rooms are well placed so quests didn't bother each other. The downstairs had games and activities for younger guests. 3 floors to spread out and enjoy our stay. The view is admazing!!! Spencer is the most gracious host.”

“Perfect getaway in the summer. The weather was lovely, with comfortable temperatures both day and night. The kids loved exploring the forest near the cabin, and we saw lots of wildlife including deer, moose, chipmunks, birds, etc. The cabin was beautiful, clean, and well stocked. There was plenty of room for 16 people.”

“Great property for easy access to skiing. Really appreciated the kitchenette and small selection of cooking implements since dining options are limited when the road in is inaccessible (on-mountain dining closes very early, around 5pm). No issues with basic comforts - thermostat, hot water, shower and bathroom, etc were all in good working order. Wifi was quick enough for Zoom calls. In short, a great home base for a ski trip! “Couldn't have asked for a more perfect stay. It is really hard to explain in few words how wonderful the house is - even more welcoming than the pictures. A very big and beautiful home full of character and so well thought through. From the very beginning Lena was very helpful, she gave us some recommendations for the area.
