Thanks to a Trover suggestion, on our way back from Walla Walla we stopped by the Country Mercantile store and I sure am glad we did! The store is filled with a huge variety of jams, sauces, spices, fresh food and tons and tons of home made chocolate. Since we went in October they were making numerous flavors of caramel apples, with delicious toppings. Flavors such as peanut butter or double chocolate! Pricing was a little more than what I was expecting to pay for it was worth it for the taste!

"Very nice cabin/small house with 1 bedroom downstairs and lots of sleeping space upstairs in a cozy loft-like area. Great bbq and outdoor seating area. Adjacent to Warden Lake where we enjoyed watching the many, many birds at sunset. Jeanne, the manager, was helpful and available if needed. We had a fun stay here!"

"It was fine. Like a bigger RV with no wheels located in an RV park. No spices if you cook yourself… I mean …none. Toilet seat was really loose and one of the blinds was broke in the kitchen. Not horrible. Very spendy for what it is… literally in the middle of nowhere….and where it is. Next time I would do a hotel for less than $250 a night."
